Kano State Carry First For 2025 NECO Performance Chart

Kano State don come out as di best-performing state for di 2025 NECO Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) for internal candidates, a big achievement wey don enter history for di state and dia education system. NECO Registrar, Prof. Ibrahim Wushishi, announce am on Wednesday during press conference for Minna, Niger State. According to di result, Kano State lead di whole country with 68,159 candidates (wey be 5.02% of di national total) wey pass with five credits or more, including English and Mathematics. Dis strong performance put Kano for number one position for di 2025 NECO SSCE performance chart. Dis landmark success follow after plenty strong education reforms and investments wey Governor Abba Yusuf and him government don put in place. Prof. Wushishi still announce say a total of 1,358,339 candidates write di June/July 2025 NECO exams, and 818,492 students, wey be 60.26%,  pass with five credits including Mathematics and English. In total, 1,144,496 candidates, or 84.26%, pass with five credits or more for any subject. Kano performance overshadow other states, as Lagos and Oyo follow behind. Lagos State come second with 67,007 successful candidates, while Oyo take third with 48,742 candidates.
