APC, NNPP Question U.S. Over Visa Ban Wey Dem Wan Put For Kwankwaso

All Progressives Congress (APC) and New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) don reject di proposed visa ban and asset freeze wey some US lawmakers wan place on former Kano governor, Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, plus Miyetti Allah groups over alleged religious freedom violations.
Di bill wey dem call “Nigeria Religious Freedom and Accountability Act of 2026” na Rep Chris Smith and some oda US lawmakers sponsor am, and dem say na to punish people wey dem accuse of abusing religious freedom.
APC talk say mere allegation no suppose be enough to stop Kwankwaso from travelling without fair hearing and due process.
NNPP too back Kwankwaso, say di proposed sanctions no fair and e get political undertone.
