Binga Don Vow Say E Go Bring Back Nigeria Taekwondo Glory

Presidential aspirant for di Nigeria Taekwondo Federation, Margaret Binga, don promise to bring back Nigeria glory for taekwondo and make sure say athletes begin win medals for big international competitions like di Olympic Games. Binga talk dis one when she appear before di National Sports Commission Electoral Committee for Abuja ahead of di federation election. Di veteran athlete, administrator and international referee present her manifesto wey base on her strong love and long experience for di sport. She talk say, “Taekwondo na me, and na because of am I be who I be today. I don be athlete, administrator and referee, so I know di pain and di game well. When I see things no go well, e dey push me to come back finish di work wey I start.” Binga express sadness say Nigeria don fall for world taekwondo ranking and say e pain her to see countries like Egypt wey once come Naija come train, now dey collect gold and silver for big tournaments while Nigeria dey struggle for one Olympic medal.

Binga reveal say her plan na to increase di number of international ranking tournaments wey Nigerian athletes go attend so dem fit gather Olympic qualification points and improve dia world ranking. She talk say even if dem no qualify direct, better ranking go give dem strong chance for future events. According to her, “We must send our athletes go ranking tournaments make dem earn points, na di only way to rise again.” She describe herself as fighter wey believe in faith, hard work and continuous improvement. “My record go speak for me,” she talk. “I no perfect, but I believe say growth and progress no dey stop.” Binga insist say under her leadership, Nigeria taekwondo go bounce back strong and regain respect for di global stage.
