Federal Government Don Promise To Fix Abuja-Kaduna Train Track Within 10 Days

The Minister of Transport, Said Alkali, don assure say if everything go well, dem go fit bring back Abuja-Kaduna train wey dem suspend, within the next 10 days. The minister talk this one as e visit the place wey the train accident happen on August 26, come see how dem dey clear the place. E talk say work dey move fine. E say, “As una fit see as I waka round, na only about 150 meters wey dey affected by the accident. So e no too long like that. We go fit repair the sleepers, the pallets and the train track so that train go start to dey run again. Na government duty to take care of the people.”

E still talk say dem dey try put better crane to carry the train coaches and the locomotive wey still dey for the site. “By God grace, for the next 48 hours, we go fit commot all of them from that site. And if weather no change, for the next 10 days, we go restore the rail line,” na so Alkali talk. E come talk say when the accident happen, the train dey carry eight coaches, and dem don already commot four. E praise the security people and other stakeholders wey dey work hard to protect passengers, workers and train properties as dem dey fix the line. E still talk say the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) staff don dey work day and night to make sure say dem clear and repair the track quick. E come thank President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the support wey e give since the accident happen, say na the support help dem begin move the train and fix the rail line so train go start to dey move again.
