Mob Set Woman Ablaze For Niger Over Blasphemy Allegation

Mob burn one woman for Kasuwan-Garba town wey dey inside Mariga Local Government Area (LGA) for Niger State. The woman, wey people talk say na restaurant owner, supposedly talk some things wey offend people when she dey talk to one customer for her shop. E be like say the customer joke propose marriage to her talk say na tradition wey Prophet get, and na after this one she make the talk wey people call blasphemy. Dem carry the woman go palace of District Head for Kasuwan-Garba first, but after that, dem give am go security people make dem investigate. But the mob come overpower security people, dem  lynch and burn her.

Niger State Police Command don confirm the matter and talk say dem don start investigation on top am. For statement wey Police Public Relations Officer, Wasiu Abiodun, release for Minna, e talk say the wahala happen on 30th August 2025 about 2:00 pm. Abiodun talk say report show say one Amaye, wey be female wey dey Kasuwan-Garba for Mariga LGA, talk some things wey people feel say dey against Islamic faith, and e make the community vex well well. Unfortunately, the matter lead to mob attack wey end with the woman wey burn finish before security people fit reach. Abiodun talk say even though peace don return to area, Police no gree this jungle justice, and dem dey work to catch all people wey join body for this crime to take go court. The Police also beg people to calm down, no take law for their hand, and make dem allow security agencies do their work according to law. This incident don make people and human rights people dey worry about how mob action dey happen for different parts of country and dem dey call for better action to stop breakdown of law and order.
