Dis one follow statement from di governor Chief Press Secretary, Fred Itua, wey drop on Tuesday for Benin. Itua talk say di new Edo State Public Property Protection Law 2025 show say Okpebholo government no dey smile with corruption, impunity and misuse of public assets. Di law create one committee wey go protect, recover and safeguard all government properties for Edo.

According to di statement, di committee get power to stop unauthorized occupation, vandalism, or encroachment of government land. Dem fit seal and recover any property wey person don take over, investigate land wahala, and work with police to enforce di law. Dem also get right to carry people go court through di Ministry of Justice. Okpebholo talk say public property belong to di people of Edo, no be for private pocket.
