President Tinubu Say New Tax Law Go Run From January

President Bola Tinubu tuk say new tax laws wey dem pass on June 26, 2025, plus di remaining ones wey go start January 1, 2026, go take effect as dem plan am.

For statement wey im sign by imself, Tinubu say di reforms be once-in-a-generation chance to build fair, competitive and strong money system for Nigeria.

Im explain say di new laws no be to increase tax, but to reset di system, harmonise rules, and protect people dignity while strengthening di social contract.
