Academic Staff Union of Universities don give Federal Government of Nigeria 14-day ultimatum. Di union take dis decision after dem hold National Executive Council meeting for Sunday for University of Abuja. ASUU national president, Prof. Chris Piwuna, talk dis one for copy of strike action wey e personally sign and give our correspondent for Abuja. For National Executive Council meeting wey dem hold for University of Abuja on 28th September, 2025, di Union complain say dem dey neglect university system and government no dey listen to wetin dem dey ask for.

ASUU don give Federal Government of Nigeria ultimatum of fourteen (14) days make dem solve these issues. If after di fourteen-day ultimatum finish, Federal Government no solve these matter, di Union fit no get choice again but first start two-week warning strike, then later go do total and indefinite strike. Make you remember say Federal Government through Federal Ministry of Education set up committee wey Abel Enitan, di permanent secretary of di ministry, dey lead to check ASUU proposal, so dat dem fit make university system stable.
