Senate Don Order NAFDAC — Ban Sachet Alcohol From December 2025

For plenary, Ekpeyong remind di Senate say NAFDAC don already plan di ban with plenty consultation with industry people since 2018, when Federal Ministry of Health, FCCPC, AFBTE and DIBAN sign one agreement to phase am out because of di danger wey dey to children, drivers, and other vulnerable people.

Di senator yarn say even though government don give manufacturers one more year till December 2025 to finish dia old stock, some companies still dey beg for another extension. E warn say dis kain behavior dey disrespect government authority and dey cause wahala like youth addiction, road accidents, domestic violence and school dropout.
