Di couple marry on November 2, 2024, but Mary give up di ghost few days ago after she born dia first pikin  sadly, di newborn baby still die join. Both mother and pikin don lay to rest on Thursday, November 6, 2025, for Okoyo Community, Ukanafun Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State. Di sad news scatter plenty hearts as family, friends, and well-wishers flood Facebook with emotional tributes to di young woman.

Emmanuel, di heartbroken husband, write for Facebook say, “Our one year anniversary no suppose be like dis. But there you are, laying still, not responding to all your sweet names. Afia Mma, dis pain too heavy, my mind no fit calm… But small cry go fit ease di hurt.” He beg Mary make she take care of dia baby for heaven and talk say he go always celebrate di love wey even d3ath no fit take away. One cousin, Ini Ekong, also cry say di death too painful, talk say, “We go all d!e someday if Christ tarry, but not like dis, not when we just dey begin life.” He pray make Mary rest in peace and tell Udeme make he take heart, say di pain weak everybody.
