FEC: Tinubu Government Go Build Houses For Abuja Judges

Di Federal Executive Council (FEC) don approve di construction of official residences for heads of key federal courts and also give go-ahead for major water and infrastructure projects across di Federal Capital Territory (FCT). Di FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, reveal dis one as e brief State House correspondents after di FEC meeting wey President Bola Tinubu preside over for Presidential Villa, Abuja. Wike talk say di approval include design and construction of houses for di President of Court of Appeal, President of Industrial Court, Chief Judge of Federal High Court and Chief Judge of FCT High Court. According to am, “Council don ratify di approval for design and construction of official residences for di heads of federal courts. Work don already start and di consortium wey go handle am dey on ground to make sure say everything deliver on time.”

Wike still talk say FEC don approve new water projects wey go serve satellite towns for FCT like Karu, Karshi, Orozo and Bwari. e remind people say Mr President don earlier commission one of di Greater Abuja Water Supply projects and promise to extend am reach other towns. Dis new phase don start and e go complete by May next year. Di minister also announce say FEC don ratify rehabilitation work for Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre wey dem earlier award under emergency procurement. According to am, di centre don already undergo upgrade to meet international standard before di ECOWAS Parliament inauguration. E still talk say Council don approve new contract for engineering infrastructure for Maitama II District after di old one wey dem award five years ago fail to take off. Maitama II project go cover over 786 hectares of land wey don already dey allocated but never get infrastructure. Wike talk say di project go open up di district and government go give am full attention to make sure e succeed.
