CAF To Arrange Draw For 2027 AFCON Qualifiers

Di Confederation of African Football (CAF) go do draw for di preliminary round of di 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers on Tuesday evening, wey go officially start di journey to di tournament.
CAF on Monday don release di official pots for di teams wey go play for di preliminary stage.
Pot 1 get Lesotho, Burundi, Ethiopia, Eswatini, South Sudan and Mauritius. Pot 2 get Chad, São Tomé & Príncipe, Djibouti, Somalia, Seychelles and Eritrea.
CAF tuk say each team for Pot 1 go play against one team from Pot 2, and di first leg go dey hosted by di lower-ranked team.
Di matches go play for two legs, and di six winners from di preliminary round go enter di group stage draw for AFCON 2027 qualifiers.
Di winners go join Africa top 42-ranked nations wey dey fight for chance to play for di continent top football tournament.
Di 2027 AFCON go be di 35th edition of di competition, but CAF never decide which country go host am yet.
