Lagos State Farmers Collobi FG Support To Boost Food Security
Federal Government don empower small-small farmers for Lagos State with farm inputs to help boost food production and improve food security for Nigeria.
Di empowerment programme wey Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security carry out happen for Agege, Lagos on Thursday, and dem give 68 farmers cooperatives farm materials.
Agriculture Minister Abubakar Kyari, wey Dr Marcus Ogunbiyi represent, talk say di programme na part of Presido Bola Ahmed Tinubu Renewed Hope agenda to fight food shortage, reduce farming cost and increase harvest yield.
Dem distribute improved seeds, fertilisers, agrochemicals and other farm materials to help farmers increase production and improve their living conditions.
Im still talk say Lagos dey important for Nigeria agriculture value chain because of urban farming, fish farming, poultry and vegetable production wey dey grow for di state.
