Lekki LCDA Chairman, Rasaki Bamidele Kasali, don announce plan to station security personnel for public schools across the council area to protect pupils, students, teachers and school property.
Kasali make the announcement after meeting with grassroots security groups, including Forest Guards, Olokun Boys, Vigilante members, NSCDC and Neighbourhood Watch operatives, as e share the update for him X page.
According to am, the meeting focus on how to tighten security for Lekki communities and improve the work of local security teams in the area.
The council boss talk say the move become necessary because the security groups know the terrain well and go help government fight crime and keep schools and residents safe.
