Atiku Knock 2026 Budget, Say E No Clear

Former Vice President and ADC presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, don condem di 2026 Federal Budget, say e be big  attack on transparency and accountability for Nigeria democracy.

For statement wey im media assist, Phrank Shaibu, release, Atiku tok say 84 percent of di entire budget dey inside just 10 Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs), while ₦12.8 trillion dey under di Service-Wide Vote (SWV) for di Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning.

According to am, the SWV jump from ₦638 billion for 2025 to ₦12.8 trillion for 2026—an increase of about 1,918 percent in one year.

Atiku say di sharp increase raise serious questions about how government dey plan to spend public money and whether di process go dey transparent.
