Abeokuta North Stop Animals Dey Waka Anyhow

Abeokuta North Local Government Chairman, Olanrewaju Oyegbola-Sodipo, commission several development projects across di council and sign bye-law wey ban open grazing to improve grassroots development and strengthen governance for Ogun State.

Di projects cover schools, healthcare, roads, water supply, rural electrification, sanitation and other public facilities across di 16 wards and four major communities.

Ogun State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Ganiyu Hamzat, praise di council on Thursday, saying di projects support Governor Dapo Abiodun’s development agenda and improve residents’ welfare.

Di council also organise stakeholders’ sensitisation programme to explain di new grazing law and promote compliance with regulations on livestock management, waste disposal and protection of public property.
