Demolition Protest: Police Warn Sowore Make E No Enter Lagos

Di Commissioner of Police for Lagos, Mr Olohundare Jimoh, don warn activist Omoyele Sowore and him people make dem no try mobilise protest over di recent demolitions wey happen for di state. CP Jimoh talk dis one on Monday as e dey address newsmen for Iyana-Oworo area near Third Mainland Bridge. Di police oga talk say dem don deploy plenty officers waka around di city to stop any protest wey fit cause wahala or scatter di peace wey Lagos people dey enjoy. E talk say police no go gree make anybody block major road or cause gbege for di state.

“Make we warn Sowore and him group say make dem stay away from Lagos or dem go face di full law,” di CP talk. E add say Third Mainland Bridge too important to di country economy and di safety of people make anybody no even think to block am. Di police boss still yarn say officers don already dey for key areas like Maryland, Ojota, Gani Fawehinmi Park, Gbagada, Bariga, Lekki Toll Gate and others to maintain peace. E talk say even though protest dey allowed by di constitution, anybody wey wan protest must follow proper process and no disturb other people right. Jimoh still defend di Oworonshoki demolition, talk say di place na illegal area wey criminals dey use, and government get right to clear am. E warn say anybody wey hide under activism to cause wahala go collect. E also assure Lagos people say dem go continue to protect dem and make Lagos remain peaceful.
