FG Don Start Train 100,000 Construction Artisans All Over Naija

The Federal Government don kick-start the training, certification, and job placement of 100,000 construction artisans across the whole Nigeria. The training go run with Polaris Capital Limited, wey dem sign Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with on Tuesday. The three-year programme go get money from federal budget, private sector investment, and donor support. E also get digital booking and verification platform wey go connect artisans directly to job opportunities, plus make money to keep programme dey go after MoU finish. The MoU signing ceremony finish when Dr. Shuaib Belgore, Permanent Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Ministry, sign on behalf of the Ministry, and Vihishima sign for Polaris Capital Limited side. Belgore talk say the programme go modernise Nigeria construction workforce. E talk say the programme go build better technical skills, create steady jobs for youths and artisans, and support inclusiveness by involving women, youths, and people with disabilities. Trades wey dey the programme include bricklaying, masonry, plumbing, electrical installation, carpentry, painting, welding, tiling, POP and screeding, upholstery, plus air conditioning and refrigeration.
