The Deputy Commander General of Hisbah, Sheikh Mujahideen Aminuddeen, confirm the arrest for one statement. He talk say na Hisbah operatives, led by Officer in Charge of motor parks, Muhammad Bashir, intercept the suspect wey come from Borno State. Even though Aminuddeen no reveal the suspect name, he talk say as dem start investigation, e show say the suspect dey traffic the women wey all of dem get international passports. The plan na to carry dem waka through Lagos, then Benin Republic, Ghana, go Sierra Leone, before e go help dem get visa to work for Saudi Arabia.

Aminuddeen still talk say the women confess say each of dem don pay N1.5 million as first payment, with agreement to pay balance after dem secure job abroad. Among the victims, one na 50-year-old woman, two be 23 years, two be 20 years, and the rest na mostly teenagers around 15 years. Hisbah also reveal say the women come from different parts of Nigeria, three from Katsina, two from Kano, and one each from Borno, Jigawa, and Zamfara.
