INEC Set January 16 For 2027 Presidential Election
INEC don confirm say Presidential and National Assembly election go hold January 16, 2027, while Governorship and State Assembly election go follow on February 6.
INEC Chairman, Prof. Joash Amupitan, say di Commission dey prepare well to make voting smooth, secure and transparent.
He point to di recent Osun election as example of wetin INEC fit achieve, with most polling units opening on time and BVAS working well.
INEC also plan to deploy about 1.4 million ad-hoc workers across more than 176,000 polling units for di 2027
