LASTMA General Manager, Olalekan Bakare-Oki, talk say dis kain practice na serious break of law, and e dey cause big security gbege, plus e dey spoil how correct vehicle identification suppose be. E talk say, based on how Lagos security system dey work, all vehicles wey dey road must get correct registration and documents from government agencies wey get power to control and enforce vehicle identification.

Bakare-Oki warn say if people dey use fake stickers, e go spoil public safety, make law enforcement weak, and comot respect for proper registration rules. E talk say Lagos State Government no go allow any person or group use illegal sticker to run road without following correct process. E talk say LASTMA, join body with security agencies and other enforcement people, go increase patrol for important roads to make sure everybody follow di law well well. “Any vehicle wey dem catch dey use ‘Union Sticker’ or any other fake sign for road, dem go just impound am sharp sharp, and all people wey dey involved go face full punishment according to law,” e warn.
