Police Nab 12 Over Oregun Egungun Festival, Warn Make Dem No Disturb Peace

Lagos State Police Command don arrest 12 people wey dey connected to circulating handbills and posters for social media wey dem attribute to Oje Parapo of Oregun. Di publications warn di public and restrict movement ahead of Oregun Traditional Egungun Festival wey dey schedule for November 27–28, 2025. Police assess say fear and tension don already dey among residents because of di warnings, and dem declare say di festival no go hold. Di stoppage na to protect public safety, law and order, life and property. Police add say any festival wey fit threaten peace or heighten tension for di state no go dey allowed under any condition.
