Di data show say 230 of di cases relate to female homicide, while 11 na female suicide. As Keshinro dey talk about why di initiative matter, e explain say dem gather di data to help people sabi wetin dey really happen, so better decisions and awareness fit come out to tackle di wahala of femicide. He beg everybody make dem quickly report any gender violence matter to police, and promise say police go handle am well well. We want make ladies, girls, and women strong and no fear to report any case of abuse quick quick, and make dem get confidence say police dey friendly and dem fit come tell us. No be like before again wey dem go dey ask shameful questions for victims for police station. “We don extend our training no be only for dis forum, but also for division level, area command level, and di criminal department wey dey respond to dis kind incidents.”For im talk, Lagos State Chief Justice, Kazeem Alogba, praise police for di data and talk say di data go help state judiciary make better decisions when dem dey handle justice. “I think say wetin we all suppose take from dis be say no be only to look am as wetin dem talk, and I don always tell my colleagues and magistrates say every case file wey reach una no be only set of transactions, na person life or livelihood dey involved, and na so una suppose dey see all di pieces wey una dey handle.
