25-year-old POS operator, Ganiyat Ajibawo, don face Lagos Magistrate Court over alleged stealing of N2.2 million wey her employer Olayinka Kadiku give am for Lagos Island. Police investigation show say di gbege happen on August 15, 2025, when Kadiku give Ganiyat di money make she deposit am for im bank account. But instead, she carry di money put for her own account, then run comot. When Kadiku find out money don disappear, e report am for Lion Building Police Division. Police use intelligence find Ganiyat for her hideout, catch am.

Ganiyat wey dey live for Odunlami Street, Lagos Island, now dey face charge of stealing under Section 287 of Lagos State Criminal Law, 2015, case number P/14/2025. Police prosecutor, Reuben Solomon, tell court say Ganiyat break her employer trust by use di money for herself. When dem read charge, Ganiyat talk say she no guilty. Magistrate Mrs N. Oseni Wahab grant her bail of N200,000 plus two sureties of same amount. She order make Ganiyat remain for Kirikiri Correctional Centre till she fulfill bail conditions.
