Rangers International and Rivers United don know dia opponents for di first qualifying round of di 2026/27 CAF Champions League, as Rangers go face AS Sobemap of Benin Republic while Rivers United go battle San Pedro of Ivory Coast in September.
Rangers go host AS Sobemap for Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne, before di return leg away, while Rivers United go start dia campaign away to San Pedro before hosting di second leg.
If Rangers qualify, dem go face either ASN Nigelec of Niger Republic or MC Alger, while Rivers United go meet either Uganda’s Vipers or FC Nouadhibou of Mauritania for di next round.
Nigeria representatives for di CAF Confederation Cup, Shooting Stars and El-Kanemi Warriors, also draw CS Sfaxien of Tunisia and UDIB of Guinea-Bissau as continental qualifiers go begin from September 4
