Reps Committee Hail Women Affairs Ministry Inclusive 2026 Budget

House of Representatives Committee on Women Affairs don praise Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development for di strong work wey dem dey do to solve problems for women across di country dey face.

Committee Chairperson, Hon. Kafilat Ogbara, tuk dis one on Tuesday during 2026 budget defence with di Minister, Hajiya Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, for National Assembly, as she hail di ministry for efforts on gender-based violence, women empowerment, healthcare and education.

She still urge di minister make the 2026 budget carry everybody along, especially rural women, women with disabilities and survivors of violence, and focus on programmes wey go bring lasting change.
