693 Athletes Set For Dynamic Athletics Meet For Lagos

Organisers say 693 athletes from nine countries don register for di Dynamic Athletics Meet wey go hold on August 15 for Yabatech Sports Ground, Lagos, as Nigeria dominate di competition with 658 athletes.

Di registration get 1,054 entries, with 100 metres leading with 482 athletes, followed by 400 metres with 246, showing say di competition go focus heavily on sprint events.

Benin get 28 athletes, while Côte d’Ivoire, Togo, Qatar, Chad, Bahrain, Cameroon and United Kingdom get one each, making di event an international competition despite Nigeria’s dominance.

Di meet also include senior and youth categories from U11 to U20, as athletes gather for Lagos to compete and develop their skills on August 15.
