NPFL: Rivers United Go Fight For League Title – Finidi

Rivers United head coach, Finidi George, don talk say him and him team dey ready to go all out to win the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) title for the 2025/26 season. The Port Harcourt club nearly win the trophy last season but dem finish just behind Remo Stars after serious battle for the top. Dem start this new season with 1-1 draw against the defending champions for Moshood Abiola Sports Arena, Abeokuta, last Friday.

As dem prepare to face Kwara United this Sunday for Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, Finidi tell fans make dem expect better performance. He talk say the tough fixtures wey come early go help the team know where dem need to improve. “We no fear any team this season. We go play our best football and hopefully we go get the result wey we deserve” Finidi talk.
