SP Adebisi Don Become New Lagos Police Spokesperson

The Lagos State Police Command don appoint Superintendent of Police (SP) Abimbola Adebisi as the new Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) for the state. She dey take over from Acting PPRO Babaseyi Oluseyi, wey hold the position after Benjamin Hundeyin bin get appointment as Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO) on September 4, 2025. SP Adebisi get BA (Ed) in English Language and Literature from Tai Solarin University of Education, Ogun State. She still carry Postgraduate Diploma in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution, plus MA in English Language from National Open University of Nigeria.

She no stop there, Adebisi also complete one Certificate in Child Protection Course for Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre, plus training for Human Rights, Human Psychology, and Conflict Management. She also attend Advanced Detective Course for Police Staff College, Jos. She be Associate of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), and member of international bodies like the International Public Relations Association (IPRA), International Association of Women Police (IAWP), and International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP). Before dem appoint her as Lagos PPRO, Adebisi don serve as Staff Officer to the Deputy Inspector General of Police (Operations), Personal Assistant to the Commissioner of Police for Special Protection Unit (SPU), and most recently as Police Public Relations Liaison Officer for SPU, Force Headquarters, Abuja.
