Edo State Police Command talk on Monday say dem don recover N300,000 wey some officers wey dey Oba Market Area Command for Benin City extort from one furniture maker. This one dey inside statement wey Police Public Relations Officer, Moses Yamu, drop. Yamu still talk say the officers wey involve don dey detained, and dem go face disciplinary action based on the rules wey Nigeria Police Force get. The statement talk say, “Edo State Police Command wan let the public know say dem don take serious action after one video wey one influencer for Edo State put for social media, wey talk say some officers from Oba Market Area Command, Benin City, extort N300,000 from one furniture maker.” The officers wey do the yawa don quickly show, the money don full recover and return give the victim, and the officers don dey detained to face disciplinary wahala according to the Nigeria Police Force rules.  “Plus, strict administrative steps don take place for Oba Market Area Command to make sure say dem dey professional, disciplined, and dey respect citizens’ rights as dem dey do their work.”

He talk say under Monday Agbonika wey be Commissioner of Police, the Command dey beg the public make dem report any bad or unprofessional behavior from officers and men of the command to the Public Complaints Bureau or Complaints Response Unit via 08150999335 and 08100389992. “The Command dey assure the good people of Edo State say dem still dey committed to maintain top level professionalism, integrity, and accountability as dem dey serve.
