Driver Dey Hospital, and Others Injured for Lagos Road Accident

Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) join hand with Lagos State Ambulance Service (LASAMBUS) rescue three people wey dem rescue for two different road crashes wey happen for different parts of Lagos on Wednesday. The first crash happen for Ozumba Mbadiwe Road, Victoria Island, where one Ford car wey get registration number APP 413 YH crash near Kofo Abayomi Junction, inside Kilimanjaro/Law School direction. Preliminary investigation show say the driver no wear seatbelt and e lose control of the car because e dey speed for the road wey rain don make slippery. The crash make the driver faint as im chest hit the steering wheel. LASTMA people quick call LASAMBUS, their medical team come revive the driver before dem carry am go nearby hospital. Police officers from Bar Beach Division come also help secure the area.

For another crash wey happen for Volks, inside Abule-Ado direction, two people suffer serious injury after collision between Coaster bus (NCA 118 XB) and Mini bus (FKJ 118 XB). People wey see the crash talk say the Coaster bus dey speed for the rain and lose control, then crash into the Mini bus. Emergency people with LASTMA officials quickly remove the two men from the crash site and rush them go GMC Hospital, Ilaje, Abule-Ado. Police from Ojo Division also dey there to keep order during the rescue.

LASTMA General Manager, Mr Olalekan Bakare-Oki, talk say make all drivers no dey drive anyhow especially for rainy season as rain and slippery road fit cause accident. He also wish the injured people quick recovery and promise say LASTMA go continue to protect life, make road safe and keep traffic flow well for Lagos State.
