For press briefing wey happen for di market yesterday, CHSR president, Comrade Alex Omotehinse, talk say police dey push false gist wey go make people forget di victims and turn public mind upside down. Di six traders wey die, Mr Seyi Akinboye, Mr Adeoye Taiwo, Mr Dare Mufutau, Mr Aderemi Adeoye Hakeem, Mr Abraham Idowu Temilola, and Mr Wale Adebayo, na legit business people wey don complain give government before say dem dey face harassment and illegal demolition of dia shops. Omotehinse talk say dem no be criminals but fathers and breadwinners wey just dey fight for dia right to trade peacefully for land wey Lagos State Government give dem years back. E add say eyewitness, video, photo, and family testimony show clear say police kill dem for inside market, and big media report am within two days after di attack.

Omotehinse cry say over one month after di massacre, Lagos State Government never show any pity or do anything serious, no condolence, no arrest, no panel, nothing. Instead, dem release di same suspects and police officers after 42 days, talk say na self-defence. E vex say government dey even ask bereaved families to pay big money for post-mortem before dem fit collect body of dia people, call am barbaric, exploitative and wickedness against di poor. “Where old parents and widowed mothers go see dat kind money?
