On October 21, 2025, President Tinubu don give green light for 15% duty on di cost, insurance and freight (CIF) value of imported fuel through FIRS and NMDPRA, to balance import cost with wetin dey happen for inside Nigeria. Di rally wey NAPS Senate President, Oyewunmi Festus Ayodele, lead talk say dem no go gree make anybody sabotage Dangote Refinery, as e go help Nigeria economy grow and create better job. He thank Tinubu for di move and beg make government totally ban fuel importation so local refineries fit shine.
Another student, Ayomide from Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology, Igbo Ora, talk say Dangote na true patriot wey love Nigeria, say if na monopoly matter, he for build him refinery for UK or US, no be for Naija. NAPS spokesperson, Bamidele Victor, add say if dem block Dangote Refinery, everybody go suffer am because fuel scarcity go continue. He talk say Nigerian students sabi wetin Dangote Refinery mean for di country and dem ready to protect am make e no fail.
