Lagos State Government don announce say dem go divert traffic ahead of di 10th Edition of Lagos Women Run wey dey schedule for Saturday, November 8, from 6:00 a.m. Di Lagos State Commissioner for Transportation, Mr. Oluwaseun Osiyemi, yan dis one for press release on Thursday. Di 10-kilometre race, wey Lagos State Sports Commission (LSSC) dey organise with other stakeholders, go start from Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS) and end for Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan. Because of dis, partial road closure go happen for TBS, Water Board, Old NITEL, Outer Marina, Officers Mess, Bonny Camp Bridge, State House, Ahmadu Bello Way, Akin Adesola Street, Falomo Bridge, Falomo Roundabout, Awolowo Road, Onikan Roundabout, and Mobolaji Johnson Arena.

Traffic officials from LASTMA, Police, Federal Road Safety Corps, and Lagos Neighbourhood Safety Corps go dey for ground to manage movement and make sure participants and road users dey safe. Osiyemi advise motorists to use alternative routes during di race. For example, traffic from Ozumba Mbadiwe wey dey go Third Mainland Bridge suppose waka through Bonny Camp to Onikan Underpass, link Marina Exit to Force Road, then connect Outer Marina to Third Mainland Bridge. Motorists from Apongbon heading Ikoyi go fit use Odunlami Street, link Igbosere Road to Moloney Street, then connect Ikoyi Road. He appeal make all motorists dey patient and obey traffic officials, as di road closures go be temporary.
