One suspected okada thief don burn by angry mob for Gboko LGA, Benue State. Di wahala happen for Abagu area of Gboko on Sunday, November 9, 2025. E be say di suspect catch while e dey try steal motorcycle wey dey park for area, but di mob no hear anybody plea, dem descend on am come set am ablaze.

Di incident happen just two days afta commercial okada riders protest for Gboko over di killing and robbery of dia colleagues by suspected criminals. Di protest start early, block main roads, halt business activities, as dem carry placards, chant solidarity songs, set bonfire, and demand government action to stop “targeted killings” of dia members. One rider, Terna, talk say attacks don increase, wit several members killed or maimed recently, including three killed last Thursday and dia bikes stolen.
