Four Nigerians wey dey part of phone-robbery syndicate wey dey terrorise London don get combined jail term of 55 years by Kingston Crown Court, UK. Di convicts na David Akintola, Ayomide Olaribiro, Olabiyi Obasa, and David Okewole, while James Adodo, Robert Hills, Nelson Joel, Michael Babo, Mushtakim Miah, and Laville Bloise also dey involved. Between September and November 2024, di gang carry out 13 phone-robbery operations across different stores for UK, mostly targeting EE stores, using threat of violence to force staff open secure stock rooms before dem run away with phones and gadgets worth £240,000. Police link di suspects to di crime through DNA, call data, and vehicle records, and on November 19, 2024, four of dem nabbed in di act at EE shop Kilburn. Searches for dia houses recover stolen items and more evidence wey connect dem to di robberies.

Two others plead guilty to attempted robbery: Laville Bloise – 2 years suspended, Mushtakim Miah – 8 years 6 months.
