Say some Retired police officers under Police Retired Officers Forum of Nigeria (PROF) on Monday block one gate for Presidential Villa for Abuja as dem protest against contributory pension scheme.
Dem dey protest say di Scheme for Naija Police Force dey illegal, bad and e dey cause suffering and early death for retirees.
Di group dey beg wi oga presido Bola Tinubu, make e sign Police Exit Bill wey National Assembly pass on 4 December 2025 and send go Presidency on 16 March 2026.
Dem explain say if di bill become law, e go remove police from di pension system wey dem call “slavery scheme” and improve dia welfare.
