US Court Indict Nigerian man Over Alleged Casino Fraud

United States Department of Justice on Wednesday announce say federal grand jury don indict one Nigerian man, Kenneth Godwin, over alleged plan to steal money from Prairie Wind Casino and Hotel for South Dakota.
According to US authorities, Godwin and some other people allegedly carry out wire fraud and illegally access protected computer systems between May 2023 and March 2026 to move money from the casino wey Oglala Sioux Tribe own.
US Department of justice explain dat Godwin currently dey Nigeria, and if court find am guilty, e fit face up to 20 years prison sentence, $250,000 fine and supervised release.
Di case na part of ongoing effort by US authorities to tackle international cybercrime and financial fraud linked to computer systems and online transactions.
