Imo State PDP don call for arrest and prosecution of Orlu LGA Chairman, Chris Mbarie, after alleged video wey dey circulate for social media show say e talk say opposition parties no go operate freely for Orlu ahead of di 2027 election.

PDP spokesperson, Lancelot Obiaku, make di demand in a statement on Thursday, saying di alleged remark no be ordinary talk as e fit amount to political intimidation and incitement against opposition members and voters for di area.

Obiaku don call on di Police and DSS to investigate wetin di council boss talk, di reason behind di statement and di intention, with demand say if dem find any criminal offence, make dem arrest and prosecute am according to law.

Di PDP say no public official get power to turn any council area into political no-go zone, insisting say Orlu belong to di people and opposition parties must get freedom to operate and campaign ahead of di 2027 general election.
