I Take Responsibility For Abuja–Kaduna Train Wey Commot For Track — NRC MD

The Managing Director of Nigerian Railway Corporation, Kayode Opeifa, talk say e don carry full responsibility for the Abuja-Kaduna train wey derail for Kaduna corridor on Tuesday. For Wednesday, as e dey answer questions for interview for Channels Television program ‘The Morning Brief’, Opeifa apologize to Nigerians and talk say as the Managing Director and Chief Executive, na him suppose take responsibility for safety matter. E also talk say the investigation wey dey go on no go hide anything or sweep anything under carpet.

Opeifa say even though the thing no suppose happen, NRC go make sure say e no go happen again. E assure Nigerians say just like how dem shut down Warri-Itakpe line three weeks ago to do repairs and fix the track, NRC dey serious about safety. The derailment happen soon after the train leave Abuja around 11am and NRC dey committed to make sure better and safer railway service dey for Nigerians.
