iPhone Scam: Lagos Police Catch Woman for 500 Million Scam

Lagos police command share update on wetin dey play for tech business for di obodo naija, say dem don arrest one 35-year-old woman, Modupeola Bamisade, for allegedly scamming over 100 people of more than N500 million.

The Lagos State Police Command say she dey sell iPhones, iPads and other Apple products online, dey offer 50 per cent discount to attract customers.

According to Police source on Wednesday, say she dey use social media influencers to promote her fake sales, but customers never receive their gadgets.

For interrogation, Bamisade agree say na through these influencers she dey reach her victims, an like dis, police dey touchlight di mata.
