JAMB Dey Anchor CBT Promotion Exam For 6,000 Federal Directors

Di Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), on Thursday, conduct promotional examination for 6,000 directorate-cadre staff under di Federal Civil Service Commission. For FCT candidates, di computer-based test happen for JAMB CBT centre for Kogo, Bwari Area Council. JAMB Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, tell journalists say di exam dey also hold for UK, US, India and Egypt, as he hail di bold initiative of di Federal Civil Service Commission. He talk say many candidates bin dey come with fear as if computer na something dem no fit use, but di system easy like A, B, C, and anybody wey sabi handle cell phone fit write di exam. He add say di step go make people less afraid of computer, as many candidates begin smile once dem see di instructions. He appreciate di leadership of di commission for taking di bold move to modernise promotion exams.

Di Commissioner representing FCT and Niger for di Federal Civil Service Commission, Dr. Hussaini Adamu, talk say he dey impressed with candidates’ performance, noting say di assessment start on Wednesday with about 1,500 candidates for three sessions. He describe di process as transparent, with CCTV cameras dey watch remotely to stop malpractice, plus conducive environment with proper security before candidates enter hall. Chairman of di commission, Prof. Adetunji Olaopa, talk say na di first time dem dey use CBT for staff promotion exam and di success recorded with 6,000 director-cadre candidates show progress. He talk say even though people advise dem to go slow, dem get confidence because JAMB get decades of experience and Prof. Oloyede be national brand with strong integrity, so dem know say di exercise go succeed.
