Lagos State Government through di Ministry of Youth and Social Development don organise Year 2025 vocational training, security, safety, and emergency preparedness programme for NYSC members to give dem di skills and knowledge wey dem need to cope for any situation. Di maiden edition of di programme hold yesterday for Adeyemi Bero Auditorium, where Commissioner for Youth and Social Development, Mr Mobolaji Ogunlende, talk say di initiative show di government commitment to youth development and align with Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s promise to empower young people.

Permanent Secretary, Mrs Toyin Oke-Osanyintolu, assure di Corps members say di ministry go make di programme an annual one so dem fit get full awareness wey go make dia service year meaningful. Representatives from Rapid Response Squad, Command and Control Centre, Fire and Rescue Service, Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA), and Lagos State Aids Control Agency take di participants through sessions wey show dem how to handle security issues, safety, and emergency situations properly. Di programme aim na to equip di youth with knowledge and practical skills wey dem fit use during service year and beyond.
