Land Grab Gbege – 4 Police, 3 Forest Guards Lockup For Lagos

Four policemen plus three armed forest guards don land for hand of X-Squad, Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) for Alagbon, Lagos State. Dem arrest dem because dem allegedly join illegal demolition and land-grabbing wahala for Orile Egun, Ijere, Ogun State. Di operation happen even though court don restrain am, and FCID X-Squad dey investigate di matter. Ogun State High Court, under Justice M. Dipeolu, don grant interim injunction since July 2025 to stop any demolition or development on di 76.15-acre land (Survey Plan No. OG/126/2009/02, June 15, 2009). Court also bar some people from take possession, sell, or develop di land.

But di demolition allegedly happen under heavy armed protection, waka against court order.
