One woman, Mrs Rebecca, mama of one, talk say she almost kill herself afta she lose her house, shop and savings. She pay N360,000 rent just two months ago before bulldozer come break everything. Now she dey sell her fan wey she buy N35,000 for just N1,000 to aboki scrap buyers just to chop and treat herself.

Another woman, Mrs Jumai, wey don live for di community for 10 years, talk say she and her children nearly die dat night. According to her, “Dem come around 11pm. We dey sleep when people begin shout say bulldozer don reach. We just carry small tins and run.” She talk say di bulldozer destroy her house, shop and even her pikin school. “We dey live for same place with di school, now everything don go. I no even sabi where I go start from again,” she cry. Aboki buyers full di area dey buy people property for chicken change as residents dey struggle to survive.
