Police don talk say di armed robbers wey cause di death of Arise News TV anchor, Somtochukwu Maduagwu, carry dia weapons from arms dealer wey dey Niger Republic. Maduagwu, wey be 29-year-old news anchor, jump from her apartment for Unique Apartments, Katampe Extension, Abuja, on September 29 during robbery attack. Di armed robbers also shoot estate security guard, Barnabas Danlami, kill am for di same incident. On Thursday, police announce say dem don arrest 12 suspects wey dem believe get hand for di robbery.

Federal Capital Territory Command spokesperson, Josephine Adeh, talk say di suspects get di weapons, locally made AK-47 rifle, pump-action gun, and pistol, from Nigeria-Niger border. She talk say all di suspects come from Kaduna and Katsina States and dem don confess say na from arms dealer for Niger Republic dem buy di guns. According to Adeh, di suspects still confess say dem do robbery for Katampe 1, one hotel for Apo, and another place for Zuba, all inside Abuja. Investigation still show say na one of di suspects, Shamsudeen Hassan, fire di bullet wey kill di estate security man, Mr Barnabas Danlami.
