Private Marketers Don Join NNPC Make Fuel Price Climb To ₦955 Per Litre

Petrol pump price don jump again from ₦905 to ₦955 per litre for NNPC and private marketers station, making am di second increase within one week. Dis hike follow sharp rise for cooking gas price wey don move from ₦1,000 per KG to ₦3,000, meaning say 12.5kg cylinder wey bin dey cost ₦12,500 now dey go for around ₦37,500 for places like Abuja, Lagos and other areas. For Abuja, NNPC outlets for Gwarimpa, Kubwa Expressway and Wuse don adjust dia price already, while stations like Ranoil and Mobil dey sell between ₦920–₦930. Last Saturday, MRS dey sell for ₦851 per litre before dis latest jump.

E talk say Dangote Refinery increase dia loading price from ₦825 to ₦845 per litre, wey cause marketers to sell between ₦900 to ₦955. Some marketers wey pay for three million litres from Dangote only get one million, as dem dey ration fuel. Ukadike talk say, “When people dey scramble for product, price must go up.”
