Rep. Kabiru Maipalace move motion say make di House suspend sitting until di executive pay all local contractors. Contractors talk say dem go dey for gate for seven days make e hard for lawmakers to sit, wey make di House reject four urgent motions, and Deputy Speaker Benjamin Kalu call closed-door session to calm di matter.

Di Minority Leader talk say di 2024–2025 budget never dey implemented well and di non-payment dey worsen hardship for di people.
