House of Representatives don suspend work on dia own constitutional amendment bill for state police and decide to continue with similar bill wey Presidency submit.

During Tuesday plenary, lawmakers introduce the Executive-sponsored Constitution Alteration Bill and quickly pass am through first and second reading.

After debate, the House send the bill go Committee on Constitutional Review make dem examine all the provisions, safeguards and how the state police system go work.

The move show say lawmakers prefer the Presidency version as efforts to reform Nigeria policing structure dey gather momentum.
