Reps Extend 2025 Budget Capital Projects Deadline Till December

House of Representatives don approve another extension for di deadline to complete capital projects and spending under di 2025 Appropriation Act, moving am from September 30 to December 31, 2026.
Di extension follow request from Presido Bola Tinubu to National Assembly, make ministries, departments and government agencies get more time to finish ongoing infrastructure projects and other capital spending for di 2025 budget.
Na di fourth time dem dey extend di deadline, as di original December 31, 2025 deadline first move go March 31, 2026, den June 30 and later September 30, 2026.
Reps pass di amendment bill through fast-track readings during plenary, as di extension dey give government agencies till December 31, 2026 to use di money and complete capital projects under di 2025 budget.
